The launchpad for Peak

For the past three years, we have been proud to partner with Magnet to deliver their annual conference, an event designed to inspire, engage, and empower teams as they gear up for the retailer’s crucial Peak trading period.

This year’s conference marked the third successful edition of this all-important event. Each year, we work closely with Magnet to deliver an experience that not only energises teams, but also builds confidence, connection and a shared sense of purpose.

By combining impactful presentations, interactive sessions and engaging content, the conference serves as a catalyst for success, ensuring colleagues leave feeling motivated, aligned with company goals, and ready to deliver results. The annual conference has become a key milestone in Magnet’s calendar and an opportunity to celebrate achievements, drive momentum, and set the stage for Peak trading.

Achieving success during Peak isn’t just about having the right products. It’s about having teams that are confident, knowledgeable, and fully engaged. And that’s where we come in. Our role was to design and deliver insightful and engaging ways to communicate key messages, ensuring presenter content truly resonated with the audience.

From concept to execution, we worked in close collaboration with the Magnet team to ensure that every aspect of the event aligned with their strategic goals. Every single element was carefully crafted, designed to equip teams with the knowledge, motivation, and confidence they needed on the run-up to Peak.

Fully immersive expo

To maximise engagement and create a truly immersive experience for delegates, we designed a large-scale interactive supplier expo featuring some of the world’s leading brands. The expo served as a space for learning and networking, offering delegates the opportunity to connect directly with suppliers, explore their latest products and gain valuable insights into key offerings.

The expo was designed to be an interactive and hands-on experience, allowing delegates to see, touch, and experience products first hand. It provided a platform for meaningful conversations, where teams could ask questions, deepen their product knowledge, and gather the information they needed to take back to their sales team

To make the experience even more engaging, we designed an Expo Passport: a fun and interactive way that encouraged delegates to explore every stand, connect with exhibitors, and fully immerse themselves in the expo.

This approach added a playful, gamified element and made sure key information wasn’t overlooked. By incentivising participation, the Expo Passport motivated delegates to engage with every exhibitor, ask questions, and absorb valuable product knowledge.

Is It Magnet?

To strengthen the connection between colleagues, the Magnet brand, and its products, we developed Is It Magnet? A high-energy, game show-style session designed to get everyone involved and engaged.

Featuring its own custom logo, this interactive challenge put product knowledge to the test in a way that was fun, competitive, and memorable. Delegates weren’t just passive participants, they were fully immersed in the action, answering questions, making quick decisions, and reinforcing their understanding of Magnet’s key products and brand identity.

Is It Magnet? was a creative and impactful way to  deliver key messages in a way that stuck. By turning product knowledge into an exciting experience, we helped colleagues feeling more informed and more connected to the Magnet brand.
