Beauty Bay’s annual summer party is an informal gathering hosted by the senior leadership team to deliver the future business strategy.
The event brings together 200 employees who work separately across two office floors in a relaxed main plenary session immediately followed by three fun breakouts designed to reinforce the key business values:
Communication, Innovation, and Customer Focus.
Starting late in the afternoon, the summer vibe kicked off with casual food options served in a funky venue with a cool soundtrack and plenty of Prosecco for this fab crowd!
Meet & Potato took over all four floors of Yes Manchester, dressing the space with chic accessories to meet the client’s brief. Working with a colour palette made up of bright pink, sunset orange, sky blue, and dazzling white our team installed stylish sofas, tropical plants, funky rugs, and colourful cushions to set the tone for the laid-back plenary session.
Professional drummers welcomed guests into the bar for refreshments upon arrival before they moved into the pink room for a Q&A session with the ‘Big 4’ bosses.
Research shows that non-verbal communication is critical to the way we are perceived by others. Being consciously aware of what you outwardly communicate can dramatically improve your interpersonal skills. Our interactive workshop facilitated by a body language expert helped the Beauty Bay team find their inner superhero and equipped them with skills to put into practice in their working lives.
Led by a professional drummer, this dynamic and energising experience began with simple actions on a bongo drum, slowly building in tempo. Then as the team found their rhythm, the session ended with a rousing finale that raised the roof!
A bonding exercise, the workshop helped break down barriers, tap into core energies, reduce stress, and lift spirits.
An ode to Ashleigh.
Using the power of song, teams explored characteristics of their key customer profile, Ashleigh in an interactive song writing workshop. Guided by the musical producers of ITV’s The Voice and The Classic Rock Show, our talented teams crafted pop versus to the tune of, Let it Be by The Beatles.
With a new found confidence in public performance the teams each took to the stage to belt out their verses in one amazing performance of, Ashleigh by Beauty Bay!
With all three breakout sessions done and dusted, awards given, and applause received, the Beauty Bay team was ready to party, and trust us, these guys go hard! Karaoke kings and queens took a chance on our lucky dip: Invited to pick a watermelon slice or an ice lolly-shaped USB from the mystery song box, then plug it in and belt out their best rendition, Beauty Bay brought their A-game!
With everything from Dolly Parton to disco, as the saying goes:
